Coastal modern kitchen remodel
A complete kitchen rebuild for a Newport Beach family — opened to the living area, new structural beam, custom shaker cabinetry, quartz waterfall island, and brass hardware throughout.
We pulled the load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room, installed a steel beam to carry the load, and opened the floor plan so the cook always faces the view and the kids.
Custom shaker cabinetry was built locally with soft-close hardware, integrated trash and recycling, a pull-out spice tower, and a hidden charging drawer. The 12-foot island has a quartz waterfall on both ends and seats four comfortably.
Plumbing was re-run for a 36-inch sink under the window, the range was upgraded to a 48-inch gas with a custom hood, and the entire kitchen is on its own dedicated electrical sub-panel.
